The Poverty Simulation has been approved for Social Work Credits and ISU Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Individuals may be granted 0.3 CEUs for their participation in the ROWEL Poverty Simulation. Sponsoring agencies that offer additional programming in conjunction with the poverty simulation may apply for more CEUs by making prior arrangements with Iowa State University. The sponsoring organization must request the CEU option at least three weeks prior to the simulation. CEU certificates take 4-6 weeks to process after they are received by Continuing Education and will be mailed directly to the participants.
