City Finance 101
Iowa State Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development will partner with the Iowa League of Cities to launch a City Finance 101 program. It will provide elected officials with a better understanding of government finance, resources, responsibilities and some fraud prevention methods. Developed into a single interactive session, participants gain tools to understand the financial information to make better decisions regarding budgets, projects and safeguarding the assets of a community.
