Science of Parenting: Children, Parents and Homework
AMES, Iowa – Children of all ages are more likely to be motivated in school when parents stay positive about school and homework, note family life specialists Donna Donald and Lori Hayungs. In September Donald and Hayungs share ideas for making homework a positive part of children’s school experience in the Science of Parenting blog from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
Through the Science of Parenting, www.scienceofparenting.org, ISU Extension and Outreach specialists share and discuss research-based information and resources to help parents rear their children. Parents can join in the conversation and share thoughts and experiences, as well as how they handle parenting responsibilities.
