The Iowa State University (ISU) Extension Geospatial Technology Training Program partners with the Extension and Outreach Community and Economic Development to offer training and online resources for geographic information systems. The programming includes a series of short courses that provide hands-on instruction from one of the department's GIS specialists. Other resources include online publications such as tutorials and quick task sheets and a variety of links to additional resources.
Courses are held at the ISU Extension Community and Economic Development facility at 2321 N. Loop Dr., Suite 121, Ames, Iowa. However, courses can also be developed for your needs and delivered at your site or ours. Please contact us for more information or options.
Coursework can also receive college credit through the online summer GIS courses. Find additional information about this option or contact Chris Seeger.
