Community Vision Checklist After examining community assets, alternative scenarios, and possible strategies, your community will define its future direction. A vision is an expression of what the community hopes to become, and reflects the values of residents.

Determine process to create community vision
Conduct visioning process. Develop a single, shared community vision based on the information gathered in the previous steps.
Build community-wide consensus for the vision
Identify indicators for measuring progress toward vision
Training as needed
Communicate visions to entire community through the communication plan
Evaluate how BCT is working so far. Suggest modifications as needed.
