4-H Outlook Committee

Recent changes in staff at the Extension Office has provided an opportunity to reaffirm that the current direction of the 4-H program aligns with state and national 4-H initiatives.  On February 24th the Extension Council held a meeting with representatives of the State 4-H Office and many of our volunteers to review the current direction of the Clinton County 4-H program.    This was an open discussion to develop a better understanding of the rich history of Clinton County, review the most recent developments in managing the program, and understand the state-wide direction of the Iowa 4-H and Youth Development Program.

On February 24, 2011 Clinton County 4-H volunteers were invited to discuss the direction of the Clinton County 4-H program.  During that meeting volunteers were able to reflect on how the past has impacted the current program.  During that evening, the current reality of the program was shared.  Finally, visions of the future of the program were also identified.
