Classes for Clinton County Master Gardeners will begin Tuesday, September 27th and continue for 12 consecutive Tuesdays. Classes will run from 6:30 pm till 9:30 pm at the ISU Extension Office in DeWiit at 400 East 11th Street. Deadline to sign up for classes is September 1, 2016. Cost of the class is $195, which includes materials. 4-H Families: This is a reminder to enroll in the Clinton County 4-H program using 4hOnline by December 1.

 New members are encouraged to enroll using 4hOnline, but also have the option to fill out a new-member packet and submit it to their Club Leader.

Iowa State University Extension is offering several ServSafe® classes for food service professionals. ServSafe® training will provide knowledge every food service provider must know about food hazards and proper food handling practices in order to keep food safe and protect the establishment against the costly nightmare of a foodborne-illness outbreak. Participants will learn ways of prevention, regulatory requirements, and how to improve food quality.
