Eastern Iowa Community College is offering a FREE workshop for students ages 11-14 this summer. Workshops will be offered at Clinton, Scott and Muscatine Community College in June. Students will learn about teamwork and leadership through hands-on games and activities, participate in a Bridge Building activity, explore career options and get introduced to computer programming, coding and game development.

Classes for Clinton County Master Gardeners will begin Tuesday, September 27th and continue for 12 consecutive Tuesdays. Classes will run from 6:30 pm till 9:30 pm at the ISU Extension Office in DeWiit at 400 East 11th Street. Deadline to sign up for classes is September 1, 2016. Cost of the class is $195, which includes materials. The Clinton County Swine Weigh-In will take place March 19, from 9:00am to 11:00am, at the DeWitt Central High School parking lot. Only derby pigs are required to attend weigh-in.  If you are exhibiting market or breeding pigs, you must enter their information yourself into 4hOnline before May 15, 2016.
