Ludwig currently lives in Elma and is a graduate of Crestwood High School in Cresco.  She graduated from University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a degree in Agricultural Education and completed her masters work at Iowa State University in 2004 in higher education.

            Since 2002 Ludwig has been the Cresco Center Coordinator for Northeast Iowa Community College.  She has been active in her local community of Elma.  Last year she co-facilitated the Horizons Leadership Plenty program, and is a board member of the new Early Childhood Center.  In Howard County Ludwig has been active in economic development efforts.
