Verification of participation to county office:  A volunteer who watches an archived webinar must send an email to their county office with the following information to get credit for participation in the training: Name, Title of webinar, Date viewed, Three things I learned or will use.

Clayton County 4-H and FFA members planning to exhibit market beef projects during 2015 need to have their animals weighed and ear tagged to make them eligible for competition according to Tammy Muller, County 4-H & Youth Program Coordinator. The weigh-in will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Edgewood Livestock Commission in Edgewood from 8:30 – 11:30 AM. This will also be a site for state fair qualifying animals to be retinal imaged.

Central students have been transforming Lego kits into robots that they’ve programmed to complete specific tasks. Their efforts are part of the FIRST Lego League competition, an event that uses STEM concepts to address real-world problems in a creative, innovative and fun way.  Central's program is co-sponsored by ISU Extension and Clayton County 4-H.

Over 255 people attended the annual 4-H Pizzazz Night at Johnson’s Reception Hall in Elkader on Sunday, November 16.   The year-end celebration honored both 4-H club members and adult volunteers.
