Professionals and volunteers involved or interested in accessing resources and programs for community and economic development gathered at the Clayton County Extension office in Elkader on April 16 to learn about Iowa State Extension’s new tool Program Builder. Program Builder is an online marketplace where community leaders can review and make selections from a variety of technical assistance, consulting and educational programs that will improve the quality of life in their communities. Attendees learned how to navigate and use this Web-based database to access services, programs and consultants in order to create a long-term, multi-faceted community plan or secure support for individual projects.
