4-H Volunteers Complete Training

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach 4-H volunteers from Allamakee, Howard, Clayton and Winneshiek Counties participated in the New Volunteer Training held at the Postville YMCA on October 12, 2013.
Participants in the New Volunteer training learned to enhance their success in delivering the 4-H program and to enrich the volunteer’s experience. It is the 4-H program’s trained, caring adults who empower our young people to success. Effective volunteers provide the experiences and positive relationships that enable 4-H youth to become productive citizens, outstanding communicators, effective leaders, and successful learners now and in the future.  Attending from Clayton County were Amy Echard, Tracey Faust, Mindy Rose and Shannon Durbin.
