The Clayton County Pork Producers held their annual banquet on September 24 at Johnson's Reception Hall in Elkader. After the pork chop dinner various awards were presented and Jessica Kramer was crowned the 2011-12 Pork Queen.

Dry Manure Applicator Certification Workshops Offered by Extension

Manure applicator certification workshops for dry manure operators are planned for seven different dates and locations in February. These workshops meet manure applicator certification requirements for both confinement site manure applicators and commercial manure applicators who primarily apply dry or solid manure.
