The ISU Extension Clay County office is hosting a professional development class on “The Key Ingredients for Successful, Positive Youth Development” presented by Wade Weber, Youth Development Specialist, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the ISU Extension Clay County office.

Lincoln Lions 4-H Club
February 19, 2015

On Tuesday, February 17, the Lincoln Lions Clay County 4-H Club helped pack meals for the Feed the Children program in Spencer.  Twenty-two youth members and parents helped pack 172 weekend meals at Hope Reformed Church in Spencer. 

January 15, 2015

This position provides leadership in selected counties to determine Human Sciences programming and deliver high quality programs in tandem with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Human Science specialists. Submit cover letter and resume by Feb. 13, 2015.

January 14, 2015

Two lambing schools will be offered on Feb. 3 at the Dave Laughton farm north of Le Mars, Iowa.  Two identical sessions – 3:30-5:30 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. – will be conducted. Participants may choose which session they wish to attend but each is limited to 25 people.

January 8, 2015

All webinars count towards Master Gardener educational hours.Master Gardeners gain educational hours while learning about how to support school gardens, food banks, community gardens, and more. All sessions will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, Feb. 12, and Mar. 12 at the ISU Extension and Outreach office in Lyon County.
