The 21st Annual Clarke County Classic Youth Rabbit Show will be held May 3, 2008 at the Clarke County Fairgrounds. Your rabbits should be bred by January 24 to enter in the meat pen or single fryer classes.
The show starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. with rabbits being judged by licensed ARBA judge, Judith Oldenburg Graf. Entries are due by April 25, 2008 to the Clarke County Extension Office. Entry fee per rabbit is $2.00 with day of show late entry fees being $2.50 per rabbit. A copy of the Show Rules and Entry Form are available online.
Workshops on rabbit carriers, tattooing and care and housing will also be available. Pre-registration is required for the carrier workshop. Cost of the materials for carriers is $16.00 each for 10x16 in size and $22.00 each for 12x24 in size.
This show is sponsored by Clarke County Extension in cooperation with the Indian Hills Rabbit Club. The show is open to all youth under the age of 19.
