High school sophomores and juniors from Northeast Iowa, including Chickasaw County are invited along with their families to learn more about Iowa State University on Thursday, March 27 at the Dairy Center south of Calmar. The program will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will include information about Iowa State academics, student life, residence halls, campus visits and the application process.

“You’ll have the opportunity to meet with current Iowa State students and staff from the Office of Admissions,” said Fred M. Hall, Chickasaw County Extension Education Director. “The Iowa State students will answer questions during a panel discussion and be available afterward to visit with you and your family.”

Light refreshments will be served as well. High school students who are interested in attending should contact their local Extension office. In Chickasaw County the office is located at 104 East Main St in New Hampton or information can be accessed on their internet website at www.extension.iastate.edu/chickasaw.
