January 21, 2015

SFP10-14 will be held in Fredericksburg, Nashua and New Hampton beginning in February and March. The programs will be held at different times to help families find the session that best fits their schedule. As a bonus, all families who attend at least 5 of the 7 sessions will be entered to win a $150 Gift Card!!

The Emerald Ash Borer meeting scheduled for Tuesday March 3 in Ossian has been cancelled due to the winter weather advisory.  This event will be rescheduled at a later time and place.

The Emerald Ash Borer, a small wood-boring beetle that attacks and kills ash trees, has now been confirmed in 14 counties.  Join this informational meeting to cover many topics related to the Emerald Ash Borer in our area.

Families throughout Northeast Iowa are invited to attend the Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival on Thursday, April 30, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Northeast Iowa Community College Wilder Business Center, 1625 Highway 150 South, Calmar, Iowa. The festival is free and open to the public.
