This position provides assistance to all Iowa State University Extension & Outreach (ISUEO) program areas in Chickasaw County. Looking for a people-oriented individual, skilled in customer relations and willing to be a team player who possesses computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, Outlook), as well as Internet Explorer/Mozilla Firefox. Knowledge of Extension and 4-H is preferred. Knowledge of website maintenance and technology preferred. Must be able to work in a group effort. problem-solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision is desired.

ISU Extension and Outreach in Region 4 is currently accepting applications for a Regional Youth and Nutrition Program Coordinator to serve six counties in northeast Iowa.  The position will provide regional educational program development and evaluation with a focus on nutrition education and 4-H youth development.

ISU Forestry Extension, IDNR Foresters and US Forest Service Personnel will conduct a forestry field day on Friday, May 2.  The field day location is at the Haugen family forestland, Lansing, IA.

A needs assessment completed by ISU Extension and Outreach has identified the future program priorities for the organization in northeast Iowa.   The survey gathered information from Region 4, which consists of Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek counties.
