This position provides assistance to Iowa State University Extension & Outreach (ISUEO) in Chickasaw County and to the County Youth Coordinator (CYC) for 4-H & youth programs. This position is under the supervision of the CYC.  It includes assisting and promoting the 4-H and youth program during the summer months. Some nights and weekends required.

A new and innovative partnership between county extension councils and Iowa State University Extension to Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) will expand duties for two local Extension staff members.

The Convergence Partnership has awarded $50,000 to the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque to support its work building healthier, more equitable communities. This unique project is collaboration between the Northeast Iowa Food and Fitness Initiative, ISU Extension and Outreach and CFGD.

Entrepreneurs in northeast Iowa now have another financing option to launch their ideas. The Northeast Iowa Food & Farm Coalition, or NIFF Coalition, was recently approved as an affiliate of Iowa Microloan.
