ISU Extension in Cherokee County is offering a "Lunch and Learn" series of workshops. The series consists of one workshop per month with a different topic scheduled each month. The workshops are taught by County Directors and Field Specialists, as well as a Master Gardener.
All workshops will be held at the Cherokee County Extension Office located at 209 Centennial Drive in Cherokee. Sessions will begin shortly after noon and will last 30-45 minutes in order to allow time for individuals to return to work if necessary.

Enjoy the Holidays-Eat Healthy - November 13, 2008
Simply Beautiful - February 12, 2009
Meaningful Gift Giving - March 19, 2009
Steps to Quick and Healthy Meals - April 15, 2009
The Frugal Gardener - May 12, 2009
The cost for each workshp is $5.00 per person. The fee will cover the cost of a light lunch which will be provided. Preregistration is requested. Please call 712-225-6196 or email kindwall@iastate.edu to preregister.
