Borlaug Center

The Summer Horticulture Showcase will be taking place on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Borlaug Learning Center (ISU Research Farm) west of Nashua for anyone interested in gardening. There will be expert Horticulturists giving presentations on 12 different horticulture related topics throughout the day (10:00 am – 3:00 pm). Participants may choose 4 of the 12 programs to attend. Master Gardener

Iowa Master Gardener Classes are scheduled to begin at the Cerro Gordo County Extension and Outreach office on September 29, 2015! Anyone interested in gardening is encouraged to call Cerro Gordo County Extension and Outreach at 641-423-0844! Master Gardeners are individuals who have an interest in horticulture, have taken the Master Gardener training offered by Extension, and use that training to volunteer for 40 hours in their communities.
