The Cerro Gordo County Extension 7th Annual Gardeners Bus Tour will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, 7:30 am-7 pm. Educational and fun stops include K & K Gardens in Hawkeye, Brucemore Mansion and the Czech district in Cedar Rapids, and a large family dairy farm southwest of Cedar Falls. Please register soon, as space is limited to the first 55 registrations. The tour will involve moderate walking. Call 641-423-0844 for more information.

Master Gardener
February 5, 2015

Annual Master Gardener Potluck, March 3, 2015, 6-8 pm, 4-H Learning Center, North Iowa Events Center, Mason City, for all Master Gardeners and interns. Current Master Gardeners should look here for information on reporting education/volunteer hours. Master Gardener Classes are scheduled to begin here at the Cerro Gordo County Extension office in September! Anyone interested in gardening is encouraged to call Cerro Gordo County Extension at 641-423-0844 and register! Master Gardeners are individuals who have an interest in horticulture, have taken the Master Gardener training offered by Extension, and use that training to volunteer for 40 hours in their communities.
