4H Clothing Event


The clothing event is open to all youth (boys and girls) who are enrolled in 4-H.  There will be an evaluation process which takes place on June 14, at the Extension Office and you will meet with the evaluator and share your experiences with them.  Gifts of clothing which were received by the 4H member,  either new or used, are not eligible of the categories below.
Fashion Revue - You will model a garment or outfit that you have constructed, hand knitted or crocheted during the current year.
Clothing Selection - You will model a outfit you have selected or purchased that represents your goal or intended use of the outfit.  The purpose of this program is to help youth develop skill in buying clothing. 
$15 Challenge - this is open to youth in grades 9 - 12.  Participants must purchase an outfit that represents the goal or intended use for the selected outfit.  Outfits must be purchased at garage sales, consignments stores, or resale shop (Goodwill, Salvation Army, or other stores of this type).  Hand-me downs or clothing as gifts that were selected by the member belong in Clothing Selection.  Cost of the garment must be $15 or less, not including shoes, accessories or undergarments.
