As your front door to Iowa State University we are your access to information and services to improve the quality of life in your community.  We provide research based information and education on public issues, food and nutrition, health, financial management, youth development, and family relationships.

Monday - Friday -- 8:00 am - Noon & 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

4-H and FFA Horse Clinics Held weekly on Thursday evenings

Clinics start at 6:30 pm at the Cedar County Fairgrounds Horse Arena

  • Arrive at 6:00 pm so you can brush and exercise your horse prior to the 6:30 pm clinic start time

What:    As the fair nears,  Darren Miller, Director of news media at the University of Iowa Atletics Department will give advice on photographs the exhibitor has taken for their fair exhibit.  A quick review of Photography 101 will preceed this class.  Open to beginners and advance photographers.

The goal of the Food Safety Project is to develop educational materials that give the public the tools they need to minimize their risk of foodborne illness.
