Cass County 4-H Clubs
The Cass County 4-H program is organized into 15 4-H clubs and 3 Clover Kids clubs. The first step in becoming a 4-H member is to join one of the clubs listed below. Most clubs meet once a month for one to three hours in a member's home, church or community center. The format of the meeting includes: a business meeting using parliamentary procedure, an educational presentation by members or leaders, recreation, and snacks. Clubs also decide on a wide range of recreational, and community service activities during the year. Clover Kids club meetings are a less formal, activity-based meeting that is more appropriate for youth in grades K-3.
For more information on joining 4-H, or the opportunities available to youth by age, please contact the Cass County Extension Office at 712-243-1132 or email Youth Program Coordinator, Susan Oliver, at smmck@iastate.edu
