Extension’s Energy Tip: If you use air-conditioning, set your thermostat as high as comfortably possible in the summer. The less difference between the indoor and outdoor temperatures, the lower your overall cooling bill will be. This tip is brought to you by the U.S. Department of Energy and ISU Extension.

Jason Brown to perform at Cass County Fair

Country singer Jason Brown of Des Moines was in Atlantic to debut his new hit "We're All in the Same Boat" on KSOM. Brown is the feature entertainment at the Cass County Fair on Tuesday, July 29. The 2008 Cass County Fair runs July 26 - August 1.
