All 10th - 12th grade 4-H members in Cass County are encouraged to apply for the 2008-2009 4-H Youth Council. Last year's council had 9 members. We want this year's council to be even bigger. Applications are due September 15.

Cass County 4-H'er Named to State 4-H Council

Cass County 4-H’er Curtis Ullerich, was selected to serve on the 2008-2009 Iowa 4-H Youth Council, a group of 40 teen leaders who serve as 4-H ambassadors. He will represent the southwest Iowa area.

4-H Record Books due September 15

Cass County 4-H Record Books are due to the Extensin Office from club leaders on Monday, September 15. 4-H'ers will need to find out when their club leader's deadline is.

2008 Cass County Fair Royalty Crowned

The 2008 Cass County Fair kicked off Sunday with the crowning of the Fair Royalty. Kelsey Swinnerton was crowned the 2008 Cass County Fair Queen and Dan Olsen was crowned King.
