2009-2010 SW Iowa Area 4-H Council

The purpose of the SW Iowa Area 4-H Council (Regions 17 & 18) is to provide significant leadership development experiences for teens. Members of the Council will be involved in identifying needs, sharing ideas, and developing a plan on action to help address piority needs. In addition, the Council will assist in overall 4-H and Youth program development by serving in an advisory capacity to staff.

Static Building Project Results

Cass County 4-H Static Building Results, 4-H members participate in conference style judging on the exhibits to gain communication skills, as well as suggestions for improving their project area. Members are awarded blue, red and white ribbons based on the exhibit, as well as exhibit goals. All outstanding projects are considered state fair.

Melodie Rubel Inducted to the State of Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame

Melodie Rubel of Cass County was inducted into the 2009 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame during a ceremony at the 4-H Exhibits Building at the Iowa State Fair on Sunday, August 23rd.
