Master Gardener Meeting Schedule:

• May 3 - Plant Sale - 8:00 PM until plants are gone. Cass County Community Center in Atlantic.
• May 27 - Master Gardener Meeting at the outdoor classroom in Massena.  Meet at 6:00 PM at the Community Center to car pool. Meet at 6:30 in Massena.
• June 24 -  We will tour each other's gardens
• July 22 - We will tour each other's gardens

The Cass County Master Gardeners have been volunteering their services to help others in Cass County.  The Master Gardeners have been responsible for cleaning up the flower beds and medians at the Cass County Fairgrounds each spring.  This year the group planted a Discovery Garden on the fairgrounds.   The garden was a positive attraction to be enjoyed by young and old alike throughout the Cass County Fair.  The interactive garden contained a vine covered tunnel for children to crawl through and an old fashioned water pump.  Garden themes included native grasses, edible plant, herbs, medicinal plants and a butterfly garden.
