WhY Science After School STEM Program
A World In Motion” & “Exploring Ecosystems”

Location: Atlantic Middle School Science Lab
Day & Time: Tuesdays 3:30 to 4:45 PM
AWIM: January 14, 2014 thru March 11, 2014
Ecosystems: March 25, 2014 thru May 20, 2014
A World in Motion (AWIM) are progressive sessions which will include hands on exploration of movement, friction, gravity, and distance. Throughout the sessions, participants will design, build and test sailboats, balloon cars & gravity cruisers.
Exploring Ecosystems are progressive sessions which will include hands on exploration of plant & animal life, ecosystems & the environment. Participants will design and build a live terrarium ecosystem and observe environmental effects.
Register by January 8 to attend the first session of AWIM.
