Crop Advantage brings the latest crop production information from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach to a location near you each January. Each location includes key statewide topics as well as a program developed by ISU field agronomists specifically for your region.

The Pro-Ag Outlook meeting for 2015 will take place on November 13 at the Carroll County ISU Extension and Outreach office.  Topics include: Corn and Soybean Market outlook and management, Livestock outlook and management and the 2014 Farm Bill. Registration fee is $25.  Most meetings are 3-4 hours in length. 

Please call to pre-register at 712-792-2364 at least 2 days in advance.  Meal will be provided with paid registration.

Iowa farmers and landowners will learn about the new programs authorized by the Agricultural Act of 2014 (commonly referred to as the Farm Bill) at informational meetings conducted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and local USDA Farm Service Agency staff members. Meetings will be held across the state to explain options available under the new Farm Bill.

December 10, 2014- Carroll, Guthrie and Audubon County Extension offices will host a Farm Bill meeting at the Coon Rapids Legion hall at 6 pm with a meal.  Please call the Guthrie Extension office at 641-747-2276 to pre-register.

December 17, 2014- Carroll County ISU Extension and Carroll County State Bank will host a Farm Bill meeting at the Swan Lake Education Center at 1:30 pm.  Refreshments will be provided.  Please call the Carroll Extension office at 712-792-2364 to pre-register.
