Commercial Ag will be held on March 17th at 1:00 pm

Ornamental and Turfgrass will be held on March 26th at 1:00 pm

Carroll County ISU Extension and Outreach plans to hold a Pesticide Training on March 24, 2015 at 6:30 at the Carrollton Inn.  If weather conditions are not favorable, please tune into KCIM/KKRL for any cancellations. No need to pre-register. Private Pesticide Training Brochure

February 13, 2015

A workshop focused on comparison of feedlot facility investments, production benefits, cattle comfort and environmental stewardship will be held at the Carroll County Extension Office in Carroll, IA on March 25 from 9:45- 3:00 pm.

A $20 registration fee will be payable at the door but those interested in participating need to contact Chris Clark, ISUEO Beef Specialist to pre- register and reserve a noon meal.  Clark can be reached at caclark@iastate.eduor by phone at 712-250-0070.

Come and join the Bucket Bottle Calf, Sheep and Goat Superintendents to learn how to care for a bucket bottle calf, lamb or goat and also find out what you will need to know to show a bottle bucket animal at the Carroll County Fair.

ALL youth exhibiting any animals at the Carroll County Fair MUST be certified in the 4-H FSQA program.  All trainings and test will be held at the Extension Office.
