The statewide average for corn/soybeans was down 6.5%, from $246 to $230/acre.
The ISU Survey does not collect rental data for individual farms. The number of responses is the number of individuals who provided information about typical rents across the county. A new question on the survey this year was the number of acres the respondent was familiar with, the sum of those acres was over 2.5 million acres across the state.
In-depth questions on the Cash Rent Survey can be referred to your area Farm Management Field Specialists.
For more information on leasing see the Ag Decision Maker leasing page.
Information on CSR2 can be found on the Soilswebsite.
Links to the full publication from previous years can be found at the bottom of the Cash Rental Rates for 2016 Survey page. A publication with the historic county averagesis also available.
