AMES, Iowa – A $1,000 scholarship has been awarded to a Calhoun County 4-H member. Andrew Lauver, Rockwell City, has received an Iowa State Fair 4-H Scholarship sponsored by the Iowa Foundation for Agriculture Advancement.

Local 4-H’er Brent Sexton, Rockwell City, was selected to serve on the 2009-2010 Iowa 4-H Youth Council, a group of 40 teen leaders who serve as 4-H ambassadors. He will represent the northwest Iowa area.
