11/23/2009- Pestcide Applicator Testing
Exams are administered by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) for private and commercial pesticide applicators. Confirming the testing time and site prior to travel is recommended - call 712-297-8611.

11/23/2009- Monthly Calhoun County Extension Council Meeting
The Calhoun County Extension Council will hold its monthly meeting to identify programming needs, approve financial vouchers, and address other issues related to ISU Extension - Calhoun County.

11/25/2009- CIC Reshow for Commercial Pesticide Applicators
Reshow of Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators. CIC shown is determined by first client request for this time slot. Participants should be seated by 8:25 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

12/01/2009- Grain Fumigation CIC
Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7C and 10. Participants are asked to be seated by 8:55 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

12/02/2009- Pest Control Operators CIC
Continuing Instructional Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators certified in categories 7A, 7B, 8 and 10. Participants are asked to be seated by 8:55 a.m. for the beginning of the program.

12/04/2009- Private Pesticide Applicator Training
Continuing education for Private Pesticide Applicators. Two hours of instruction is required annually for re-certification.

12/09/2009- Confinement Site Manure Applicators' Certification Reshow
Continuing education for (re)certification for the Confinement Site Manure Applicators. The two-hour program will fulfill the annual certification requirement. Topics will include land application rules, applicator safety, H2S safety and concerns, and manure nutrients for crop production.

12/09/2009- Commercial Manure Applicators' Certification Reshow
This training program will meet the needs of Commercial Manure Applicators to fulfill their required three (3) hours of annual training for the manure applicator certification program.

12/10/2009- Calhoun County Community Foundation Board Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Calhoun County Community Foundation Board will discuss marketing of the community foundation and plan future steps in promoting philanthropy within Calhoun County.
