Short Courses - Foodservice

training coursesSummer short courses have been offered for Iowa school foodservice managers since 1948 to provide training and support to school and child care foodservice managers in improving food preparation, financial management, food safety, and human resources. These courses are co-sponsored by the Iowa Department of Education and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.

Most short courses will be offered at Scheman Continuing Education Center in Ames. Manager's Update will be held in Cedar Rapids at the Doubletree Hotel following Iowa School Nutrition Association Meeting.
