Buena Vista County Extension and Outreach will host a workshop December, 17 at 2:00 PM at the Extension office. 824 Flindt Drive, Storm Lake. The one-hour workshop will be led by Carol Ehlers, Extension Human Sciences Specialist in Family Finance, and will be non-commercial and non-political. It will include a review of key insurance terms and concepts and an examination of bronze, silver, gold, and platinum plans. Participants will build information and skills for choosing a health insurance policy that fits their needs.

The workshop will also describes how cost assistance works using Premium Tax Credits, who might be eligible for free insurance, and where to get help with enrolling. We will also have  a Navigator from Sioux City assisting with applications and questions after the presentation. This is sponsored by Buena Vista County Extension and Outreach.
