Master Conservationist Classes to start in August
All classes, except the March 22, 2014, field day, are on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Pre-registration for the class is required through ISU Extension and Outreach (319.334.7161 or email@example.com). There is a $50 fee per participant to attend the entire series of classes. People may also attend individual classes at a cost of $8 per person (please pre-register for these classes ahead of time). The first meeting will be held at Fontana Park and pizza will be provided for supper. The group will then do potluck for dinner each month, with locations for consecutive classes to be determined by group members.

September 10, 2013, Physical Environment
October 8, 2013, Woodlands
November 12, 2013, Energy Use and Waste Reduction
December 10, 2013, Sustainable Agriculture & Land Use
January 14, 2014, Wetlands and Waterways
February 11, 2014, Wildlife Diversity
March 11, 2014, Prairies and Grasslands
March 22, 2014, 8:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m. Field Day (Participants will travel to one or more places to speak with experts and gain first-hand knowledge).
