WINTER CANCELLATION POLICY

Since we follow the Independence Schools delays and closings (due to road conditions only) the Buchanan County ISU Extension and Outreach Office will delay opening for the same amount of time, or close if they are closed.  Whenever possible, we will notify the TV stations about any interruption to our regular schedule as well.  Programming scheduled during those times will be re-scheduled.

Want to learn more about Showmanship, Basic Grooming, Handling, and Show Ring Ethics?

Speakers will cover: horse, beef, sheep, poultry, dairy, rabbit, meat goat and swine.                                                                        ***A minimum of 5 youth for each session is necessary for it to be offered.***
Topics will include: showmanship, basic grooming, handling and show ring ethics. This clinic is free and pre-registration is required. Registration form should be mail by Tuesday, May 20th to: Grundy County Extension 703 F Ave. Suite 1,  Grundy Center, IA 50638
