DESCRIPTION OF CLUB:

The Douglas Rockets is a 4-H club with members ranging from age 8 to 17.  We are a small club with 12 members.

HISTORY OF CLUB:

The Douglas Rockets 4-H club started in 1924 and the first leader was Edgar Bergmann.  The club originated in Douglas Township in Bremer County, but now includes more townships in the county.

MEETING LOCATION:  

Meetings are held at 1:00 P.M. on the second Sunday of every month.  These meetings are held at the members homes.   Fun activities include a fall hayride and bonfire, Christmas party, sledding party, bowling, and a fun day at the Waterloo water park.
