DESCRIPTION:

Our club meets monthly.  We have a yearly calendar that is given to each member at the start of the 4-H year in October or November.  The members know when they host, when they are to give their presentation, when they lead flags and if they are co-recreation leader.  Our club likes to focus on citizenship, mostly community service.

HISTORY OF THE CLUB:

Cedar Chums 4-H club organized on May 23, 1955.  Originally was the 'girl club" in Plainfield and the Polk Hustlers was the "boy club".  Somewhere along the years both clubs have become co-ed.

Plainfield Public Library

MEETING TIME AND DATE:

7:00 pm usually the 1st Sunday of the month.
