: Year Round Clover Kids

: ISU Extension Clover Kids is an exciting, developmentally appropriate program for first, second and third grade youth. Clover Kids emphasizes overall well-being by empowering young children with successful learning and positive social interaction through cooperative learning in noncompetitive environments. Children are involved in hands-on, experiential learning activities taught by ISU Extension staff and trained volunteers. Clover Kids is sponsored by Iowa State University Extension & Outreach in Boone County. Who: Children in First through third grade are invited to experience the joy of hands-on learning once a month for a year. Time: 4:00 - 5:30 pm Dates: Second Monday of each month October 8, November 12, December 10, 2012 January 14, February 11, March 11, April 8, May 13, June 10 and Pool Party on July 22, 2013 Where: Boone County ISU Extension & Outreach office, 603 Story Street, Boone, IA 50036 Cost: $25.00 per person for all supplies, snacks, T-shirt, & insurance. Limited to first 20 youth registered. Make checks payable to: Boone County ISU Extension. Leader: Jenny MacRunnel Inclement Weather Plan: Should school be cancelled or dismissed early due to poor weather conditions, that session of Clover Kids will be cancelled. Make up sessions will depend on presenter and facility schedules. Transportation: Parents are responsible for making arrangements for getting their child to and from Clover Kids. Questions?
