: Sixth through eighth grade youth interested in technology, robotics, multimedia, game design, photography, science, how technology is used in the animal industry and more will love this club! Regular meetings are the second and fourth Thursdays of each month beginning February 14 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. at the Extension 4-H Building at the southwest corner of Stange Road and 13th Streets in Ames. Volunteer organizational leaders are also needed. They will be responsible for organizational details and coordinating with the business ambassadors from Harrisvaccines who do the teaching. Technology expertise is not essential. The new club is a part of Iowa Governor Branstad - ™s Scale Up STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) initiative. The HyperStream 4-H club is a partnership between the Technology Association of Iowa Educational Foundation, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach 4-H Youth Development and Harrisvaccines. New or current 4-H members need to enroll at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/story/page/join-4-h. To become an adult organizational leader, contact Annette Brown, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, 515-432-3882.
