Central Iowa 4-H Intermediate Trip: 7th & 8th Graders Explore Kansas City

 

Think of all the project areas and life skills that are related to the trip: animal science, science and technology, history, theatre arts, money management, consumer product selection, food and nutrition, responsibility, citizenship, social skills and of course, LOTS OF FUN!  Consider doing a fair exhibit related to your experiences.

 

Early registration deadline is April 15th. Trip cost is $265 per youth (Boone County 4-H Funds pay for 1/3 of cost. Boone County 4-H’ers pay $176 ) and $100 per chaperone, covering all attractions, hotel, transportation and breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1evening meal. Participants will need to pay for three meals (1 lunch and 2 dinners) and any souvenirs.


Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Participants interested should have their registration and money turned in as soon as possible. Registration forms can be mailed to Katie Mullaney at the ISU Marshall County Extension Office (2608 South 2nd Street, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158).
