Central Iowa 4-H Intermediate Trip
Central Iowa 4-H Intermediate Trip: 7th & 8th Graders Explore Kansas City
Think about all the project areas and life skills that are related to the trip: animal science, science and technology, history, theatre arts, money management, con-sumer product selection, food and nutri-tion, responsibility, citizenship, social skills and of course, LOTS OF FUN! Consider doing a fair exhibit related to your experiences. Share your experiences with younger members and encourage them to participate another year.
Early registration deadline is April 24th. Trip cost is $265 per youth(Boone County 4-H Funds pay for 1/3 of cost. Boone County 4-H’ers pay $176 ) and $100 per chaperone, covering all attractions, hotel, transportation and breakfasts, 2 lunches and 1 evening meal. Participants will need to pay for three meals (1 lunch and 2 dinners) and any souvenirs.
Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Participants interested should have their registration and money turned in as soon as possible. Registration forms can be mailed to: Natalie Hedlund, Boone County Extension, 603 Story Street, Boone, IA 50036
