Babysitting Basics Training Course

Come and learn about:
  • The responsibilities of a baby-sitter and what employers expect
  • Caring for infants and young children
  • Age appropriate toys and activities
  • Safety and how to handle emergencies
  • Basic first aid and rescue breathing
Expectations:
  • Participate in class activities
  • Bring a doll or stuffed animal to class

Boone Site:

Open to all youth (males and females) in 5th grade and above, however space is limited to 30 participants.  Form and fee must be turned in to reserve a spot.
 
Babysitting Basics in Boone will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Boone County Hospital 4th Floor Conference Room (Enter by west door of hospital and take stairs or elevator to 4th floor).
 
Cost is $20 per participant and includes a Babysitting Basics workbook, lunch, snack and child care resources.

Madrid Site:

Open to all youth (males and females) in 5th & 6th grades, however space is limited to 25 participants.  Form and fee must be turned in to reserve a spot.
 
Babysitting Basics in Madrid will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Madrid Elementary School Lunchroom.
 
Cost is $20 per participant and includes a Babysitting Basics workbook, lunch, snack and child care resources.
