The Boone County Extension Council was honored with the Distinguished Service Award at the annual Iowa State University Extension and Outreach awards ceremony on Sunday, March 26 at Gateway Event Center in Ames, Iowa. Each year, one Extension Council in the state of Iowa is chosen for this honor by a committee of Extension professionals.

  • The Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) conducts research, counsels, and trains business people in management, financing, and operating small businesses, and provides comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety of fields.
