Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been positively identified in a residential tree in the city of Waterloo, the county seat of Black Hawk County, making this the eighth location where the invasive beetle has been found in Iowa. Pesticide Testing will be held at the Black Hawk County Extension office every second Friday of the month from 10:00 am to 2: 00 pm.
Continuing Instruction Courses by Terry Basol, Extension Field Agronomist will be held at Tama Hall on Jan. 16 at 1:30pm, Jan. 23 - All Day plus Crop Advantage, Feb. 18 at 9:30am and March 18 at 7:00pm. Register for Crop Advantage Here and see the program agenda.
