Black Hawk County 4-H’s April Workshop offers a brand new experience! Join us on
Saturday, April 29, to create a Shirt-Apron and Button-Bookmark. 4-H’ers will learn basic sewing skills (operating a sewing machine, pinning, sewing a button, etc.) while working with volunteers and 4-H Staff to create a useful item and potential 4-H project. And it's FREE! This project is for individuals in grades 4-12. 4-H’ers will be utilizing scissors, pins, sewing needles, and a sewing machine.

4-H's Omelet Breakfast, April 2, 2017 was another great SUCCESS! Almost a tie with last years "record-breaking" attendance! We served 1,323 omelets! THANKS to all the 4-Hers, volunteers, family members, fair board, customers who help to support this fundraising event! Lots of smile and FUN was had by all! Special Thank You to our Donors and Table Sponsors! Be sure to check out all the photos!

The Orange Clovers will be receiving a Pizza Party for their Club....Thanks to all the Clubs for the creative and speciality baskets donated! The winning basket sold for $155!. Awesome! Thanks to the community for all their support! Our grand total of all baskets sold was $1458! The money will be used by the 4-H County Council for premiums at the Black Hawk County Fair this summer! See all our baskets....
