Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) has been positively identified in a residential tree in the city of Waterloo, the county seat of Black Hawk County, making this the eighth location where the invasive beetle has been found in Iowa. Many awards where presented at the 2014 Awards Program at the Electric Park Ballroom Sunday, Nov. 23rd. Record Book Keeping and Project awards where given to the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Levels. Also top 5 Premier Exhibitors, Leader Recognition Pins and Club Achievement Awards. More Awards included: 4-H Alumni Award, Honary Award, Guldager Merit Awards, Leadership, Carolyn Clubine Food and Nutrition Award, Communication Award, Page Mumm Beef Award, Matthew Lichty and Strein Horse Award, Citizenship and the Danforth "I Dare You" Award. And lastly the Lions Club Award.
