Please mark your calendars and get ready for this upcoming Growing Season Webinar Series brought to you by Master Gardeners at Iowa State University. Starting Tuesday, August 25th at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office, we will be venturing on a 3 part (2 hour long) growing season webinar series that will begin with • Design from Yard to Trough, • Water in the Garden, and followed by • Pollinators & Growing Herbs.  Please bring family or friends and sign up here!

FoodCorps service members Grace Rathert, Bobbi Jacobs and Laura McInerney picked 1100 apples in from Timeless Prairie Orchard in Buchanan County. These apples will be used in the nutrition program they help lead at Lowell, Kittrell, Highland, Lincoln, Irving, Becker, and Cunningham. This has been a great collaboration of the Health Department, Waterloo Schools food service, and FoodCorps stationed at ISU Extension. See photos!
